Slack

These photographs are all taken at or near an area called Slack which is near a town called Tarland in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. There is a popular viewpoint called 'The Queen's View' at Slack where visitors can learn the history of the area from an information plate and identify the hills and mountains from the indicator. Queen Victoria reputedly stopped at the Slack to admire the view on her way to Bamoral. The area you look at is called The Howe of Cromar and I have been lucky enough to have lived here for 20 years.
